The 202 is a fully earthed anti-static (ESD) chair. Every component — seat, backrest, chassis, gas lift, base and castors (or glides) — is bonded to a grounded path, so charge dissipates continuously instead of discharging into your components. Resistance to ground does not exceed 10¹⁰ ohms, tested with an OHM-STAT megohmmeter and a 5 kg weight on the seat.

An ESD chair dissipates charge from the chair itself. It is not a substitute for grounding the operator — that is the job of a wrist strap, or an ESD floor and footwear system.
