What bench height does the PU550 suit?

The PU550 is a low-height stool. Its seat adjusts from 400mm to 530mm, which suits seated / desk-height benches around 750 mm high. If you’re not sure, send us your bench height and we’ll confirm the right model.

What is the weight capacity of the PU550?

The PU550 is fitted with a 20-stone gas strut, which is approximately 127 kg.

Is the PU550 easy to clean and suitable for busy labs?

Yes. The PU550 has a moulded polyurethane seat that wipes clean and resists chemicals, spills and frequent cleaning, so it suits teaching labs, healthcare areas, industrial settings and other high-use, easy-clean environments. Can I have feet or castors on the PU550?

The PU550 comes with standard castors as standard. Lock on/off castors are available for a price uplift. Soft-tyre castors are recommended for hard or vinyl flooring; please also consider the safety requirements of your working environment when choosing castors.

What guarantee and delivery apply to the PU550?

UK mainland delivery is included in the price. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland is quoted on request. Every stool comes with a 5-year guarantee against normal wear and tear from the date of delivery, used under normal conditions during a conventional working day. In a shift or 24/7 working environment the guarantee is 2 years from the date of delivery. Purchase orders accepted from schools, colleges, universities, NHS trusts, government organisations and registered businesses. VAT invoice supplied. On finance systems we may appear as Mark Finn Lab Furniture or Lab Tables.
