Description

The 010 is a sit-stand lab stool with a moulded polyurethane seat — a perching support for standing benches where a full seat will not fit, or where staff are up and down all day. Purchased over 1,321 times to date.

A sit-stand takes weight off the legs without committing to a seated posture — right for sample prep, line-side work and crowded benches. Where staff genuinely sit, specify the bench-height 008 stool or a lab chair instead. The lab chair height guide explains the classes.

Seat

A moulded polyurethane seat — solid, seam-free and wipe-clean. It tolerates routine laboratory cleaning agents and shrugs off knocks, spills and daily wash-down, which is why PU is the default choice for busy shared benches. This model is PU seat only.

Who uses the 010

Supplied to research and teaching labs at the University of Sheffield. The lab stool range is also in daily use at Imperial College London, University College London and NHS Blood and Transplant.
